If you are a beginner coder, or are in Grades 5/6, please sign up for our Beginner session.
If you are a returning participant or have previous coding experience, please sign up for our Intermediate I session.

Who: For Girls in Grade 5 & up! We offer both beginner and intermediate levels for Girls Coding Club! In Beginners (grade 5 and up), we will learn how to code, and in Intermediate I (grade 7 and up), we will expand upon their previous coding experiences.
Info: The Girls Coding and Robotics Club will include a mix of technology and software. Additionally, participants will be able to develop digital literacy skills and learn about computer science in a supportive environment!
In Beginner (grade 5 and up), participants will learn the basics of coding and robotics using block coding, Ozobots, and Lego Robotics.
In Intermediate I (grade and up), participants will take their coding to the next level with Lego Robotics, and by creating and programming wearable tech using Lilypad Arduinos.
Those new to coding can sign up for the Beginner section (grade 5 and up) and those returning, or with coding experience outside of SCI-FI, are encouraged to sign up for the Intermediate section (grade 7 and up).
When: Friday evenings from 6:30 - 9:00 PM starting on September 16th.
Where: In the Engineering Building, 57 Campus Drive
We will start check-in in front of the SCI-FI office at 6:15 PM.
