If you are a beginner coder, please sign up for our Beginner session.

If you are a returning participant or have previous coding experience, please sign up for our Intermediate I session. If you have previous experience with our Intermediate I club, please register for our Intermediate II session.

General Information:

Who: For Girls in Grade 5 & up! We offer both a beginner and two intermediate levels for Girls Coding Club that are open to whatever skill level the participant is! 

Info: The Girls Coding Club program will include a mix of technology software such as App emulators. Additionally, participants will be able to develop digital literacy skills and learn about computer science in a supportive environment! Those new to coding can sign up for the Beginner section and those returning, or with experience outside of SCI-FI, are encouraged to sign up for the Intermediate I section.  Those who have previously enrolled in our Girls Coding Club Intermediate I section are invited to advance their skills in the Intermediate II section.  

When: Friday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 PM starting on October 15th until November 5th 

Where: Online at SCI-FI’s Zoom Room! 

Everyone gathers at the main entrance (lobby) of the Zoom call for check-in at 6:45 PM. During check-in, the campers mingle amongst each other as they prepare for the activities ahead. From there, our SCI-FI instructors will lead their groups to their own breakout rooms and begin coding!
